When life hath reduced to a crawl
Skip, skip the day away
It shall put a smile on your face
Skipping at a steady pace
For the skipper doth live in the moment
Fast walkers are going nowhere and they’re in a hurry
Joggers feel they have something to prove
But the skipper sees the sun behind the clouds
The rainbow after the downpour
With upcast eyes
With upcast smiles
They skip, skip the day away
The skipper makes the traversal of their various habitats a breeze
By moving around with ease
Gaily do they move about
Dissipating the need to shout
With great enthusiasm, they spring to work
Never shall they go berserk
For they skip, skip the day away
